Kenny originally came to our office for sleep apnea treatment. His initial experience was so positive, and his treatment so effective, that he now sees Dr. Sternberg routinely for treatment. His latest treatment involved the replacement of a defective dental crown and root canal therapy, all in the same appointment.
Well, Dr. Sternberg asked me to say a couple of things about my experience here. Interestingly, I first came in because I had a snoring problem and I didn't think it was a dental issue, but nobody could seem to find a way to fix it. My wife didn't want to sleep next to me anymore, and actually Dr. Sternberg had two ways to possibly fix it. The first time he got me an appliance. It was a little onerous, so he got me another thing that was not onerous and it works like a charm! It's like really a miracle that my wife now sleeps next to me, she doesn't get upset. I don't snore, I sleep all night, it's not a problem. But interestingly, just a few weeks ago I came in because I had pain right here and I said, "Oh jeez, knowing me I got jaw cancer or something." So he checked it out and he said, "Kenny, your old crown, your 30-year-old crown is a little soft, it's not right." No pain, no issues, he did the crown and at the same time one of the most fantastic things was I needed a root canal. And you know what I loved about this? I had a root canal once before, I had to go to a different doctor. I sat in the chair, Dr. Sternberg, he did my root canal and he did my crown and I didn't have to go anywhere! He did it right there, right then! I've had no pain, my jaw is fine, the tooth feels good. As a matter of fact, he just finished amazingly five minutes ago getting my crown in. I'm talking to you; it feels perfect. He actually did it so beautifully and so gently. He didn't even have to give me a shot to finish doing the crown work. So I think it is the best experience I've ever had, certainly at any doctor or dentist, and honestly, you could never have a more gentle, more kind, more caring dentist. He even calls me at night to make sure I am OK, which is shocking, but I'm not shocked because knowing Dr. Sternberg that's how he works.
